Publishing was never the plan.
Colin Edwards, founder of Zion Publishing House, on how a finished manuscript in 2020 turned into a publishing house.

Colin's story
In 2020 I had a full manuscript for what would become my first book and no idea what to do next. Traditional publishing wasn't the right path. Self-publishing was intimidating, and most of the self-published books I picked up looked like it.
After a lot of research and a lot of conversations, I partnered with a hybrid publisher. Holding the finished book, then watching it reach people I never expected, changed what I thought was possible for a first-time author.
After my launch, other writers started reaching out with the exact question I'd had: I have my manuscript. What do I do now? So I started walking alongside them, teaching what I'd learned and working out the details of an industry that changes constantly.
It became clear that authors weren't looking for a list of services. They were looking for a guide. That's what Zion Publishing House is.
More than two dozen books later, the relationships we've built and the impact those books are having is something I don't take lightly. We're ready for dozens more. These books matter. The people behind them matter more.
I read every application and take every first call myself. If you have a manuscript, I'd like to hear about it.
